Podczas prowadzonych pr\u00f3b poligonowych <em>miotacz KS-2<\/em> zosta\u0142 zast\u0105piony nowsza konstrukcj\u0105 &#8211; <em>miotaczem KS-24<\/em>. Wynik tych pr\u00f3b uznano za pozytywny, co zadecydowa\u0142o o przyj\u0119ciu pojazdu do uzbrojenia w 1933 roku pod oznaczeniem ChT-26. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">W latach 1932-1935 wyprodukowano 552 lub 602 egzemplarze. W p\u00f3\u017aniejszych latach zmieniono oznaczenie pojazd\u00f3w tego typu z \u201epojazd\u00f3w chemicznych\u201d na \u201emiotacze ognia\u201d co spowodowa\u0142o zmian\u0119 oznaczenia pojazdu na OT-26.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Opis konstrukcji:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Pojazd pancerny zbudowany na podwoziu <em>czo\u0142gu lekkiego T-26 model 1931<\/em> (wersja dwuwie\u017cowa). Jarzmo miotacza ognia pozwala\u0142o na wychylenie broni na boki po 20\u00b0 oraz od -10\u00b0 do +10\u00b0 w pionie. Du\u017cy zbiornik umieszczony po lewej stronie przedzia\u0142u bojowego mie\u015bci\u0142 400 litr\u00f3w cieczy zapalaj\u0105cej (w praktyce nape\u0142niano go 360 litrami mieszanki), a dodatkowy osprz\u0119t miotacza (w tym 3 butle spr\u0119\u017conego powietrza) by\u0142 umieszczone na prawej \u015bcianie kad\u0142uba. Mieszanka 60% mazutu z 40% nafty mog\u0142a by\u0107 wyrzucana na odleg\u0142o\u015b\u0107 ok. 35 m.
